Services
Christ Church meets every Sunday with services for different tastes! Visitors are very welcome! Refreshments are provided after the main service at around 11.45am. In addition to Sunday and midweek services, the Church also meets at various times and locations throughout the week in Homegroups. Special and extra services are also provided at seasonal and festival times such as Lent, Easter, Harvest and Christmas.
Sunday Services
8.30am (1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays): For those who like a straight-forward traditional style of service. Services last about 50 minutes with traditional hymns sung on third Sunday mornings.
10.00am (every Sunday): A variety of services for the whole family, Anglican in character, with a mixture of traditional hymns and modern worship songs led by our Worship Group, with an opportunity for personal prayer after the service. Typically the services last 1½ hours. 1st Sundays: An all-age Family Service lasting about an hour, providing for all ages in its music and activities. 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays: Common Worship Holy Communion with creche, Junior Church and youth groups. 5th Sunday: A Morning Celebration Service, with teaching, worship and prayer ministry; with separate children's activities
6.30pm (every Sunday): Smaller services, often more intimate and quieter, with a variety of styles. Typically the services last an hour. 1st Sundays: Evening Holy Communion service with prayer for healing. 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays: Evening services with a more reflective style to refresh, renew and equip you in your daily living. Second Sunday evenings are often led by one of our Homegroups
Midweek Services
10.00am (1st Thursdays): Common Worship Holy Communion - after which Communion is taken out to the housebound
10.00am (2nd Thursdays): Book of Common Prayer Morning Prayer - a traditional service with sermon and hymns
