Welcome to Christ Church, a lively, growing Christian community at the heart of Flackwell Heath, on the edge of High Wycombe. We have been a place of worship in the village for over 75 years. We look forward to giving you a warm welcome whether you are searching for answers, looking for a place of worship and fellowship or if you just need some help.

From 17th March 2020 the Archbishops of Canterbury and York called for Church of England churches to put our usual pattern of Sunday services and other midweek services, activities and meetings on hold and become a ‘different sort of church’ in the coming months to face the challenge of coronavirus. But whilst the building closed the Church remained very much open and active! Every Sunday we now offer a live-streamed service at 10.30am (see below) and from Sunday 21st June the Church building is also open for personal private prayer (see below)

Here are some other suggestions for this Sunday and other times:

(1) At your usual time of attending Church on Sunday why not take part in a simple act of worship at home. All you need to do this is visit Daily Prayer on the Church of England Website. Just click here

(2) Some Prayers and Intercessions to use. Please click here

(3) There is a Diocesan service live-streamed at 10.00am each Sunday... 'Church at Home'. Details, including down-loadable Orders of Service, together with a list of other parish live-streams can be found here. Oxford Diocese will provide a live-streamed Eucharist each Sunday and on principal Holy Days. This will be offered by a range of different people who will be offering prayers and reflections. It is also available to people dialling in by phone as well.

ONE CAN TRUST and local Collection pointsThere is a huge amount of good neighbourliness happening in Flackwell Heath and it is great to see,But can we remind you of the needs of those in difficult circumstances across the Wycombe Area that have traditionally been supported by One Can Trust, the High Wycombe Food Bank. To help them in their continuing compassionate ministry of helping others we have set up two collection points for One Can... one at the the home of Paul & Jan Churchouse and one at the Vicarage... for you to drop off any items as you go on your daily exercise walks! There will be a large plastic box outside each front door for you to drop off goods as you pass by. Details of addresses are in the Church Directory.  There is also a collection point at The Cherry Tree Public Public House. On behalf of One Can Trust.... a huge thank you!
