BOOKINGS FOR THE WEEKEND AWAY HAVE NOW CLOSED

We are really looking forward to our 2024 Weekend Away. Here’s some information you might find helpful.

Where are we going?
Our Weekend Away will be at High Leigh Conference Centre in Hertfordshire. It’s around an hour from Flackwell Heath and offers everything we need for a great weekend. The postcode is EN11 8SG, and you can find out a little more on their website. Apart from your travel costs, everything is included in the price of your ticket – that’s food, drinks, and accommodation. High Leigh is an accessible site, with accessible rooms available, and our main venue has step-free access. We won’t be the only group on site but will have rooms dedicated for our use.
 
What are the timings?
The Weekend Away is from Friday 26th – Sunday 28th April 2024. We haven’t confirmed the exact times yet, but we’ll be starting on Friday evening and will finish after lunch on Sunday.
 
What will we be doing?
The Weekend Away will be a mix of teaching, worship, and time together as church family. Nearer the time we’ll share more details, but we are excited to have this time to grow deeper with God and one another and have fun together too. There’ll be opportunities to do things together and have some space on your own, and we’ll be providing content for children and youth as well.

Who are the speakers?
We are delighted that David and Sylvia Kinder are joining us for the weekend to speak in our main sessions. David and Sylvia have both recently retired, having served in ordained parish and prison ministry for many years. They have a heart for ministering in both Word and Spirit, and we are hugely excited to see what God says though them as we gather together.

How much does it cost?
Tickets are £210 for adults (17 and over), and £60 for children aged 6-16. Children under 6 are free, and the ticket price includes everything for the weekend (except transport).
